Our Somerset Domestic Abuse Service is pleased to announce a new partnership with Somerset FA. It brings together two organisations committed to raising awareness of domestic abuse and supporting individuals affected by it across Somerset.
The partnership will focus on educating communities about the signs of domestic abuse, encouraging people to speak out against abusive behaviour, and helping individuals access the specialist support services available to them.
As part of the collaboration, Somerset FA will use its platform and connections across the county’s footballing community to help increase understanding of domestic abuse and its impact. The initiative recognises that domestic abuse extends beyond physical violence and can include emotional, psychological, financial, and coercive forms of abuse.
